Smile Improvements At Any Age is Possible with Dental Implants.

Dental Implants are currently the standard of care for replacing teeth. A dental implant is a biocompatible titanium root form prosthesis that is strategically placed into your jaw bone to replace tooth roots.

After a few months, the implant fuses to your jaw bone, making it permanent. Once the fusion occurs, impressions are taken to fabricate an abutment for the implant crown.

There are many advantages to dental implants, including:

Improved aesthetics

Dental implants look and feel like natural teeth without the disruption of adjacent teeth, as a tooth-supported bridge does.

Comfort, function, and speech.

Ill- fitting dentures can become a nuisance when they move in your mouth as you eat or talk. Dental implants can stabilize your dentures to avoid those embarrassing moments.

Durability

Implants are very durable and have a success rate of up to 98%. With proper care, implants can last a lifetime.

Cavity – free

Cavities cannot occur in an implant-restored crown; however, regular followups are still important to care for the bone and gum tissue surrounding the implant.

Implant Dentistry Services

Single Tooth Replacement

Traditionally, when a patient loses a tooth, a dental bridge was the treatment of choice. With bridges, the adjacent two or more teeth are shaved down to support a suspended tooth, known as a “pontic”. The unit would be splinted together, making flossing more difficult and more susceptible to decay. With dental implants, there is no need to disrupt the adjacent teeth. Patients are able to treat each tooth individually.

Implant Bridges

If there is a short edentulous span where a patient is missing just a few teeth, implants can be used to restore those areas by spacing them out accordingly and restored with a bridged prosthesis instead of a traditional removable partial denture. Flossing can be more challenging, but patients with implant bridges do not have to worry about decay.

All-On-Four Hybrid Dentures

The “All-On-Four”  or “Teeth in a day” concept of total rehabilitation of a full set of teeth has been around for over thirty years. The procedure consist of removal of all existing teeth and placing  four to six implant in strategic positions and having denture teeth screwed into place. This provides patients a more permanent solution to removable full dentures while providing aesthetics, comfort, and function.

Overdentures

An “overdenture” is a full or partial denture that is modified to attach to dental implants. This is a cost effective surgical procedure to stabilize any removable prosthesis. This procedure requires less implants when compared to a “All-On-Four Hybrid” allowing the removable prosthesis to snap into place.
